When you have stressful feelings, it’s common to self diagnose.  Since you can tell that you’re not happy and not able to relax, you might want to easily brush off your feelings and call them anxiety.  But, your doctor should be seen, to be certain that that’s all you need to address.

Start your research with this eBook, “All About Alleviating Anxiety and Stress.” Go to http://anxiety.internet-info-site.com. Find out how your doctor will determine the real cause behind your anxiety.

EKG

Often, anxiety symptoms are found in heart related troubles. If you have a history of heart problems, or if someone in your family does, you may need to have a stress test and EKG to rule out these problems.

Blood tests

If the physical exam does not determine anything, more testing may be required.  You may need a blood test to determine if there’s an infection or some other root cause for the symptoms.  You may have your thyroid levels checked, and even other blood level markers.

CT scans

If your doctor is concerned that your anxiety symptoms might be trauma or illness related, you may need a CT of the areas of your body where the discomfort or pain is.  This will aid in ruling out other disorders.

Physical examination

As many medical conditions (hypothyroidism, hypoglycemia, etc.) can have anxiety like symptoms, you’ll want to see your doctor to make sure you are in good physical condition, and not suffering from any larger medical conditions.
